The other day I had the pleasure of working with Miss "C" and she took me to a new location! I love finding new spots in the area:) I wish you all the best and hope that your last year is wonderful!
Shooting with "E" around town was a blast! It is such a joy and compliment to be asked to document such an important stage of one's life. Thank you so much:) Congratulations!!
Had a wonderful session with Brandy and Jonathon a couple of weeks ago! I've discovered my passion for photographing babies actually....They are so unpredictable and you certainly know when they like or dislike what is going on...I look forward to photographing more babies and I have Brandy to thank for this new interest!
Here's a sneak peak of the portrait session I had yesterday...After a couple of minor technical difficulties, we changed it up a little and got some great images...Thanks Jessie, you're a rockstar :) Happy Birthday Taytum!
For the months of April and May, I will be offering candid portrait sessions to all free of any session charges! The normal fee of $125 will be tossed out the door for the next couple of months and there is no obligation to buy a certain amount of prints. So, you will receive a 1-2 hr. candid portrait session (no backdrops, posing, etc.) at a location of your choice (within 45 min. of the Anchorage area) and will be able to view all photos in a private gallery free of any charge. Feel free to contact me with any questions and book your portrait session soon! Availability might be a little tight...
Come out and enjoy the show! DSA will be performing next weekend at the Performing Arts Center at 8 p.m...You can buy your tickets thru centertix or me...See you there!
This is my dad. I love him dearly. When I'm home, we take walks together in the park, eat delicious food, play chess, go sailing (his favorite thing to do), and ski from time to time. He and my brothers love trivial pursuit and love love love arguing politics:) Don't be surprised if I feature a family member from time to time...They are very unique, special people...
This past Sunday I took headshots for Momentum Dance Collective and had a lot of fun in the process! Here's a little preview of some of my favorites...More to come soon of everyone as the editing process continues:)
Thank you!!! You all did a wonderful job on Sunday and I'm grateful to be able to work with such beautiful dancers and people, alike. I hope to work with you all more to come in the future:)
I have lots of new photos to share from my last trip on the east coast, but have been sick and resting for the last few days...So, with that being said here are a couple of photos until I get the bulk of them edited and uploaded. My dad and I were taking a walk in the park together and approached this guy, while he was feasting on his lunch....He let me get pretty close to him and didn't seem too bothered, or maybe he was just happy I wasn't trying to scavenge his meal...
Happy 2010! I hope that everyone had a safe and happy New Years. I was lucky enough to have spent my new years with my brothers, Alex and Greg, in NYC. We ate delicious sushi for dinner and then followed it up with an exhilarating performance art piece, Fuerza Bruta. During the performance, the audience is standing and constantly moving around the area of action. Dancing, running on moving platforms, swinging from the ceiling, swimming in a shallow surface, and crazy lighting are all a part of the show (everything happens above the audience). Here are some shots from my phone camera:) Have a healthy, joyful new year!
